This week we have gone back into lockdown so we have been doing online learning. we got wednesday off and then we went into online learning on thursday so here is my math's work from then :)

this week we had to figure out the rule to the pattern then continue and write down what the rule is. My writing it the highlighted one. here it is :)

S.T.E.A.M

On Wednesday we did science, our task was we had to drop an egg from a certain height and try and make it not crack. We had to do this by using the materials we were given, The materials we were allowed to use were:

• 3 Pieces of A4 paper
• 1 piece of A4 paper to sketch our idea
• 1 A5 piece of cardboard paper
• Plastic bag
• Wool
• Tape 

Our idea was to rip and scrunch up our A4 paper and put it in our plastic bag, we then wrapped the egg up in the cardboard paper and we used tape to seal it up. We then put the cardboard paper (with the egg inside) in the plastic bag we then tied up the plastic bag and taped the handles together. We then used the remaining string and tape to wrap it up nicely.I was in a group with Tayla B, Tayla K, Valley rose and Sophia D. Here is my slide I hope you enjoy.

Holocaust

This term we have been learning about the holocaust and Adolf Hitler. Our task was to make a site about the holocaust and pick a theme after we picked a theme we had to make questions about that theme and do lots of research about them.

The holocaust started in on 1941 and ended on 8 May 1945, The Nazi was a group of soldiers who hated the Jewish. the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler hated the all kinds of people but mostly the Jewish people, he used concentration camp and gas chamber to kill lots and lots of people. If you didn't get killed you would get put to work all day everyday even in harsh conditions. You would be forced to wear striped pajamas so if you escaped you wouldn't be able to blend in to the nature and you would get killed. 

you would have Jewish armbands on and when a solider came to your door you would show them something that shows you are Jewish or not. If you were Jewish you had to get a census card to show to the soldiers. 

Adolf Hitler got married for less than 40 hours because they both shot themselves and poisoned themselves. The day before Hitler tested the poison on his dog and killed his dog.

How are you?  Have you had a good week?

In class this week we have been learning about KOS (Keeping Ourselves Safe) but we have also been learning about how to keep others safe not just physically but also mentally.

  In Class, We were given a comic with a scenario. And we had to draw the last frame it was out of a basket ball one or a disco one and the basket ball one ran out so I chose the disco one. 

The Scenario was these two girls chatting at a disco, But then two girls came and started talking to the Blond girl, And left the other girl out because she had a lazy eye. Then the two girls tried taking the Blond girl away. 

We had to make the last frame and decide what happens in the end, so I chose to have the blond girl waving for the other girl that was getting left out to come and join them so they can all have fun together.

P.S. I'm not the best drawer so I'm just letting you know.

Tamoko!

Today I made a Canva about Tamoko, I had lots of fun and it was cool to learn about Tamoko.

Tamoko is a tattoo but different instead they put ink under you skin so there is no way to remove them. A Tamoko tells the story of your life using different patterns.

Home Alone Safety Poster!

Today I made a safety poster for if your home alone and someone creepy is nocking on your door.

In this poster I have put two ways to help you be safe in a scary situation and help you remember what to do.

I also have my opinion on what I think is safer for you to do. I made my poster on Canva and it was really fun and not to hard.

2021 Pepeha

New Year New Pepeha!!  

This week we have been making Pepeha's. I had fun making this.

I made my Pepeha on a slide first then put it on Adobe Spark and added pictures to some to it. I enjoyed putting my work on Adobe Spark as it is really easy to use and is fun to try different things on.

Camptastic!!

 Hey Bloggers 

Last week my class and I went on camp to Wainui and had lots of fun. In this blog I will tell you my favorite activity from camp at Wainui.

I was In a bunkroom with Catherine, Zoe R, Zoe C, Pandora and Tayla B. We had lots of fun and somehow got sleep. 

The teachers made breakfast, lunch and dinner for us and it was really good, all of the class bought home baking so we had that for morning tea and supper.
